Climate:
The Taiga is very cold and lonely. The main seasons in the Taiga are Winter and Summer because Spring and Autumn are very short. Winters in the Taiga only have snowfall. Summers however are warm, rainy, and humid.
The average temperature for six months of the year is below freezing. The winters are very cold and have major amounts of snow. The temperature can range from -65 to 30 degrees F (-54 to -1 degrees C).
In the summer it can reach up to 70 degrees F (21 degrees C) . Even in the summer the temperature can get as low as 20 degrees F (-7 degrees C).
The average precipitation in a year is 12-33 in. Which converts into 30-85 cm. It can fall in forms of snow, rain, and dew. Surprisingly most of the precipitation falls as rain in the Summer. The insects mate in the melting water.
